Wilderness First Aid is a 16-hour course focused on general medical concepts and basic life support skills. Accidents happen when we least expect it. Learn what to to do when people get sick, hurt or lost.

This course is perfectly suited for outdoor enthusiasts and seasonal outdoor staff and will prepare you with the medical skills you may need in the front- or backcountry.

This course will be taught by SOLO instructor, Jeremy Robichaud.

The course will cover: Patient Assessment System; CPR; Circulatory System; Nervous System; Respiratory System; Fractures, Stable Injuries; Splints; Hypothermia; Hyperthermia and Heat Illness; Near Drowning; Lightning Injuries; Wounds and Burns; Anaphylaxis; Lifting, Patient Carries

Do I get certified? Yes, you will receive a SOLO WFA certification card, valid for two years. 

Cost: $165 for WFA, $50 for CPR (Note: WFA Certification is dependent on valid CPR certification)

Dates: June 22-23, 2019

Time: 8 AM – 5 PM. CPR certification will occur Saturday evening.
