Town of Rangeley

By Car: From town take Rt. 4 north.  Take a left on Manor Road (just opposite Moose Alley)  1/4 mile on the left is the parking area for the property.

By Boat:  From Town Cove, head north-west, around the point (opposite Town and Lake Motel) Hatchery Brook Trails are on the west shore of the cove.  You will see the dock on the waterline.

Bring a picnic to enjoy at 3 separate sites along the loop.  Mountain biking on the loop is fun and challenging.  Watch out for the bog bridging.

The Hatchery Brook Trail is located on the outskirts of Rangeley village and features 50 acres of forested land and a 1/2 mile of frontage on Rangeley Lake.  A network of shoreline and forested wetlands provide critical wildlife habitat.  A series of bog walkways provide low-impact travel across the wetlands and minimizes impact to sensitive plants and soils.  The dock installed in 2009 and three picnic sites on Russel Cove provide water access for boaters while affording views of Town Park.
