Individual Volunteers

Trail Workdays

Several times each year, we have workdays open to individual volunteers. Subscribe to our e-newsletter and visit our Events page for upcoming opportunities.

Service Projects

We welcome service projects where scouts and volunteers can solve a specific problem or meet a specific need on our properties and trails. In your email, share your plans with us and be as specific as possible about your goals.

Water Quality Monitors

Water Quality Monitors collect data for clarity, dissolved oxygen and total phosphorus on our waters. Learn more about our water quality program.

Adopt-a-Shoreline

Our Invasive Plant Patrollers adopt a section of shoreline to annually inspect it for invasive plants. We provide volunteers with training and supplies. Learn more about our invasive plant patrol.

Group Workdays

Join us for a fun, hands-on experience stewarding RLHT's lands and trails. We can also facilitate workdays for corporate teams and other groups, providing the necessary tools and instruction that match the group’s ability and interest.

Activities could include:

  • Trail maintenance
  • Trail building
  • Invasive species control or removal
